Palo Gallery was established in 2018 in New York City by third-generation art collector and dealer Paul Henkel with a diverse, multi-disciplined curatorial program. Each solo or groupexhibition in our program is considered in light of scholarship of the historical canon of art and in regards to current social relevancy. We believe that this curatorial focus on framing contemporary art in the context of the history of art makes our program unique, and are committed to offering artists unique opportunities to elaborate on these concerns. Inclusive in regards to our roster, we exhibit emerging, mid career and well established artists. As part of our commitment to excellence for both our artists and collectors, our beautiful 3,400-square-foot gallery space was designed by Selldorf Architects to be two galleries in one —a Gallery and Salon/ project space— to showcase our unique program.
